New Hikers Sought for Summer Outings
The Sierra Club is inviting new hikers to participate in one of the easy treks planned around the Conejo Valley and along the Pacific Coast during July and August.
Outdoor enthusiasts can walk to the Nicholas Flats area just off Decker School Road on Thursday. In August, several more four- to five-mile hikes will be planned for Zuma Canyon, Newton Canyon and Wildwood Park.
Hikes take two to three hours and everyone is welcome. Be sure to wear sturdy boots or shoes, and bring water and a light jacket.
