No Leads in Search for Bombing Suspect
Federal agents searched 10 square miles of a rugged tract near Andrews in the western mountains where they believe abortion clinic bombing suspect Eric Robert Rudolph is hiding. Teams of agents and local law enforcement officers also were backtracking over mountain trails and remote cabins as they began the second week of a manhunt for Rudolph. The FBI has offered a $1-million reward for information leading to the arrest of Rudolph, 31, who has been charged in the Jan. 29 bombing of a Birmingham, Ala., abortion clinic that killed an off-duty policeman.
