2 Men Arrested in Separate Robberies
Two local men were arrested in connection with separate robberies in Santa Paula, police said Friday.
Carlos Alberto Rodriquez, 19, of Santa Paula was taken into custody Thursday on suspicion of armed robbery for his alleged involvement in the June 26 robbery of Rancho Sunset Produce in the 100 block of North Oak Street.
Also on Thursday, Anthony Medrano, 20, of Santa Paula was arrested on suspicion of holding up a Chevron station on Harvard Boulevard last September. Medrano had recently been profiled on the local television show “Crime Stoppers.”
Both were being held Friday in lieu of $50,000 bail at the Ventura County Jail.
