A Scapegoat to Some, but Still a Star to Him

Am I the only person in Los Angeles who thinks Nick Van Exel had a great season? Didn’t he have the best assist-to-turnover ratio in the NBA? Didn’t he regularly step up when others wouldn’t to take and make the clutch shots? Didn’t he play through pain all season?

Wouldn’t it be nice to see him play for a coach who doesn’t make his skin crawl? I’m sure he’ll get the chance, just not in Los Angeles.
