Olympic gold-medal figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi visits Nagano, Japan, with three American children on A Kid’s Eye View of Japan With Kristi Yamaguchi (KCET, Sunday at 8:30 a.m.). The journey includes a look at the daily life of the Japanese and a visit to White Ring Stadium, the site of the 1998 Winter Olympics. For ages 5 to 17.

Pocahontas, the animated 1995 film, premieres on ABC’s “The Wonderful World of Disney” (ABC, Sunday at 7 p.m.). It’s part of what the network is calling “Pocahontas: The Living Legend,” which also includes never-before-seen footage and an original new song, “Where Do I Go From Here?” Mel Gibson is the voice of dashing British Capt. John Smith, who meets the beautiful Native American princess Pocahontas (voice of Judy Kuhn). For the family.

In a three-part episode of 101 Dalmatians: The Series (KCAL, Monday-Wednesday), Cruella de Vil joins Roger and Anita Dearly and the Dalmatians on a wild vacation. In the first part (Monday at 5 p.m.), Roger plans a second honeymoon while Cruella tries to prevent them from getting to the church. In the second part (Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.), the puppies discover Cruella’s plan. How they foil it unfolds in the final chapter (Wednesday at 5 p.m.). For ages 5 to 12.

On an episode of Smart Guy entitled “Strangers on the Net,” T.J. (Tahj Mowry) and his friend Karen (Cerita Bickleman) are lured into the home of a paroled sexual predator via a computer chat room (WB, Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.). The stranger had passed himself off as a nice 15-year-old boy wanting to sell some games. For ages 6 to 12.

Gullah Gullah Island (Nickelodeon, Thursday at 11:30 a.m.) finds James and the gang trying to keep cool by using some frozen water balloons and a garden hose to turn a wading pool into a “Chiller Thriller.” For ages 2 to 6.

An American kid, Mike Dennehy, finds himself in the land of legends and Leprechauns in Spellbreaker: Secret of the Leprechauns (Disney Channel, Thursday at 8:10 p.m.). Mike makes friends with a group of Leprechauns who are involved in a war against Nula, a beautiful but sinister witch. For ages 7 and above.
