Laguna Hills Wins in Swimming
Shauna Barnard’s winning anchor leg in the 400 freestyle relay and a third-place finish by Laguna Hills’ B relay team were enough as the Hawks defeated Mission Viejo, 147.5-138.5, in a nonleague double dual meet in girls’ swimming Tuesday at Mission Viejo.
In nonleague girls’ swimming:
Edison 98, Costa Mesa 71--Katie Haynes won the 100 butterfly, 50 freestyle and anchored the winning medley relay team for host Edison (1-0).
In nonleague golf:
Servite 183, University 183--Justin Ragognetti shot 35 for Servite and University’s Brian Sinay shot 34 as the teams played to a tie on the front nine.
In nonleague boys’ tennis:
Woodbridge 10, Sunny Hills 8--Woodbridge’s Adam Artunian swept his singles matches as the Warriors improved to 2-0.
