Commission to Address Improvements at Parks
The Parks and Recreation Commission is scheduled to hold a community meeting Wednesday to discuss capital improvements for several Inglewood parks.
The city has about $316,000 in county bond funds to use for park improvements. Officials would like to use the money to renovate basketball and tennis courts, upgrade playground equipment to meet the Americans With Disabilities Act, and improve public waiting areas.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Rogers Park, 400 West Beach Ave.
Information: (310) 412-8750.
