Notes
Erica Sorgi, a world-ranked diver who set a record last year in the Division I diving finals, will not compete for Capistrano Valley this season, according to Cougar Coach Don Cholodenko. Sorgi is taking home school this year and because of her intense international diving schedule, there was no way she could attend school, Cholodenko said, noting that she’ll be back in her junior year. . . .Laguna Hills is looking to win its third consecutive Division II title. And with sophomore Shauna Barnard and freshman butterflyer Lindsey Buck, the Hawks have a very good chance.
