Trustee Receives Award for Studies
Ann G. Albertson, a member of the city’s school board, has received a Master of Boardsmanship Award from the California School Boards Assn.
Albertson, elected in 1996, was given the award after completing more than 60 hours of study in such areas as curriculum, district budget and finance, legal responsibilities of school boards, leadership techniques and long-range planning.
“This award recognizes a demonstrated commitment to learning and leadership,” said Manny Scrofani, the association’s assistant executive director.
