Actress, Pianist Part of ‘Role of Women’ Panel
Actress Joan Van Ark, jazz pianist-composer Corky Hale and architect Elyse Grinstein are among those scheduled for a panel discussion on “The Role of Women in the Arts: Past, Present and Future,” on April 20 at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Additional speakers for the panel, which is sponsored by Club 100 of the Music Center and the KCET Women’s Council, include Joan Hyler, past president of Women in Film; Madeline Puzo, associate producer of the Ahmanson Theater; actress-activist Beulah Quo; and actress Susan Flannery.
Tickets for the event are $65 and include a 6 p.m. supper, followed by the 7 p.m. panel discussion.
