SEASON AT A GLANCE: Santin is undefeated in the hurdles and has clocked region-leading times of 14.75 seconds in the 100-meter highs and 43.43 in the 300 lows. In addition, she has run 2:19.3 in the 800, cleared 5 feet in the high jump and run on relay teams that have clocked a region-leading 48.31 in the 400 and 3:54.35 in the 1,600.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Santin won the 300 hurdles in 43.43 and helped Taft finish second in the 1,600 relay and third in the 400 relay in the Pasadena Games at Occidental College on Saturday. Those efforts came a day after she won the 100 highs in 15.0 and the 330-yard lows in 45.3, placed second in the high jump at 5 feet and ran on Taft’s winning 440-yard relay team in a 66-57 victory over Cleveland. “I just feel so much stronger in the second half of the race,” Santin said of the 300 hurdles. “Last year I would be hurting when I came off the turn, but this year I’m ready to go.”
