Educational Services Position Filled
The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District has hired Yvonne Davis as assistant superintendent of the Educational Services Division, a position that has been vacant since last year.
Davis, 58, who received a doctorate from UCLA, previously served in the Los Angeles Unified School District as chief instructional officer. Her management experience includes roles as regional administrator, director of instruction and school principal.
She replaces Sharon McHolland, who left the district in November to become superintendent at Alta Loma. Davis will officially take office in May.
“I am looking forward to working with the superintendent to serve the students and community of Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified,” she said.
