Ed Lahti; Former Disney Channel Executive
Ed Lahti, 53, a television producer and former vice president of production for the Disney Channel. He was in charge of such Disney TV projects as “Friendship in Vienna,” “Goodbye Miss Fourth of July” and “Mark Twain and Me.” He also oversaw the “Great Expectations,” “Avonlea” and “Mickey Mouse Club” series. On Sunday of a heart attack in Toronto, where he was working on “Pooch and the Pauper.”
