* Irvine at El Toro, 3:30 today:

The five-team Sea View League, which has four top 10 teams, continues to cannibalize itself as No. 7 El Toro and No. 5 Irvine try to stay close to No. 4 Woodbridge. Susan Churchwell (0.18 ERA, 13 RBIs) has had a good year hitting and pitching for El Toro. Irvine has used three pitchers, all with ERAs under 0.88.

* Baron Classic, Mile Square Park, 4 p.m. Saturday: The tournament, rained out last month, concludes with eight teams playing in two brackets, El Modena vs. San Diego Serra and Marina vs. San Diego Scripps Ranch in the championship bracket with the title game at 8 p.m. In the consolation bracket, Laguna Hills plays Calvary Chapel and Fountain Valley plays Lakewood St. Joseph.

* El Modena at Foothill, 5 p.m. Tuesday: These teams played Wednesday and 10th-ranked El Modena beat the second-ranked Knights, 6-3. Foothill’s Courtney Fossatti has the county’s second-lowest ERA (0.10). Among those she and the Knights must slow are El Modena’s Erin Norton (.453) and Chrissy Lake (.446), though it was Morgan Scott who had three hits in the last meeting.
