* Irvine City Swim Championships at Heritage Park Aquatic Complex, 3 p.m. today: Though top-ranked Irvine should have no trouble winning this event against University and Woodbridge in boys’ and girls’ events, the triangular meet will still provide outstanding individual swims. In particular, the girls’ 50-yard freestyle will be exciting as freshmen Jessica Hayes of University and Leslie Christiansen of Irvine face off to see who’s the fastest in Irvine and the county.
