Snowboarder’s Body Found After Slide

Rescue workers near Salt Lake City battled a steady snowstorm to recover the body of a New Hampshire man who was killed when an avalanche swept a party of five snowboarders down a rocky slope in the Wasatch Mountains. Jeff Clement, 21, of Henniker, N.H., was killed by an avalanche that swept down the cliffs and exposed rocks of Mt. Baldy, a favorite destination for snowboarders. The four others caught in the avalanche survived. One woman was hospitalized in serious condition.
