Auburn Still Shops for Coach

Mississippi’s Tommy Tuberville eliminated himself from contention to become Auburn’s next football coach, saying he has no interest in leaving the Rebels.
Auburn defensive coordinator Bill Oliver has been in charge of the team since Terry Bowden’s resignation, and Tuberville said he would be surprised if Auburn didn’t give Oliver the head coaching job.

Hawaii Coach Fred vonAppen said he has no plans to resign, even though the Rainbows have the longest losing streak in NCAA Division I at 15 games.
