BREA

* Imperial Highway: Report of a traffic collision just east of Valencia Avenue at 11:04 a.m. Saturday. A 35-year-old woman suffered lower-back and neck pains after her car was rear-ended.

* Birch Street: Burglars entered a carport in the 300 block and stole two mountain bicycles Saturday.

* Valley View Street: Someone loaded a shopping cart with merchandise at Rite Aid and left without paying at 7:06 p.m. Tuesday.

COSTA MESA

* 21st Street: Officers investigated a disturbance reported about 2:50 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block.

CYPRESS

* Cerritos Avenue: Tools valued at $500 were reported stolen Nov. 5 at 8:36 a.m. in the 6000 block.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street: A 68-year-old man was arrested at 7:16 p.m. Monday on suspicion of stealing blank prescription paper and using it to obtain prescription drugs.

* La Zapatilla Circle: A 1983 Chevrolet El Camino was reported stolen from a home in the 9700 block at 7:58 a.m. Wednesday.

FULLERTON

* North Placentia Avenue: A petty theft was reported at 2:26 a.m. Nov. 6 in the 1600 block.

* South Raymond Avenue: A hit-and-run was reported at 6:47 p.m. Nov. 5 in the 500 block.

* Morelia Avenue at Bastanchury Road: A nude male was reportedly scaring joggers on the trail behind Morelia Avenue at 6:40 a.m. Nov. 5.

GARDEN GROVE

* Banner Avenue and Harbor Boulevard: Two people were arrested in connection with a gang shooting in front of an AM-PM Mini Mart on Nov. 6.

* Harbor Boulevard: While chasing a parolee on foot, an officer pulled his hamstring at 5 a.m. Saturday in the 13000 block.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Edinger Avenue: A caller reported that 16 youths inside and outside a restaurant about 7:40 a.m. Nov. 5 refused to leave and were being rude.

* Pacific Coast Highway: Officers found a burglar alarm had been tripped by a dog walking around inside the building about 8:20 a.m. Nov. 5.

IRVINE

* Barkwood Avenue: A resident’s window was shattered when someone threw a large rock into it at 3:42 a.m. Nov. 11 in the 5000 block.

LA HABRA

* Risner Way at Idaho Street: A commercial burglary was reported at 8:40 a.m. Nov. 5.

* West Highlander Avenue: A residential burglary was reported at 4:24 p.m. Nov. 5 in the 800 block.

LA PALMA

* Fir Circle: A citizen reported narcotic activity in a two-door vehicle at 5:44 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 5500 block.

* La Palma Avenue: A citizen reported theft of change from a newspaper stand at Ralphs grocery store at 5:44 p.m. Wednesday in the 5400 block.

* Tiara Lane: Two males reportedly pointed a long-barrel gun out a residence window at 4:04 p.m. Tuesday in the 7300 block.

* Broadway: Officers responded to a report of a stray animal near Broadway and Cliff Drive about 5:15 p.m. Thursday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Paseo Bonita: A resident called police at 10:17 a.m. Monday to complain that some tree trimmers, one of whom wore a red shirt, looked suspicious and might be casing his house. After checking, police reported they were indeed real tree trimmers.

* Menton Street: Officers responded to a burglar alarm in the 100 block about 7 p.m. Monday. No report taken.

ORANGE

* West Almond Avenue: A burglar entered a residence in the 2300 block by force at 6:50 p.m. Monday.

* East Washington Avenue: Police checked on a report of vandalism and malicious mischief in the 2000 block at 12:30 p.m. Monday.

PLACENTIA

* Yorba Linda Boulevard and Bradford Avenue: A report of several shots heard at 10:25 p.m. Saturday.

* San Luis Way: A report of a residential burglary at 5:22 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block; burglar made entry through a pet door and stole a video camera valued at $1,000.

* Morse Avenue: A report of two juveniles on top of a school building at 7:05 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block; officers found spray paint in several areas of school, but the juveniles were gone.

* Edinger Avenue: A woman who reported a peeping Tom looking through her boat window in July told police Nov. 5 that the man was just an appraiser looking at her boat in relation to a divorce settlement.
