Agoura Sinks Rio Mesa, 18-10
Mike Campbell had five goals and five assists to help Agoura High defeat Rio Mesa, 18-10, in a first-round game of the Southern Section Division IV boys’ water polo playoffs Friday at Agoura High.
Campbell scored three goals and Dusty Sloan had two of his four goals in a seven-goal second quarter for fourth-seeded Agoura (18-7), which has won 10 consecutive games.
Campbell has 93 goals this season.
Justin Rosa made seven of his 13 saves in the first half.
Brea Olinda 13, Flintridge Prep 6--The sixth-seeded Wildcats pulled away in the second half of a Division VI match at Brea Olinda.
Matt Klekner had three goals and four steals for the Rebels (17-7).
Royal 13, Cate 5--Ryan Apperson and Derek Anderson each scored three goals for the fifth-seeded Highlanders (17-7) in a first-round Division IV victory at Rancho Simi Community Park.
