Nordhoff 33, San Jacinto 27--Brandon Titus completed a 13-yard touchdown pass to Scott Drew with 1:40 to play to give the Rangers a victory at Nordhoff.
San Jacinto (7-4) responded by driving to the Nordhoff six-yard line with 18 seconds remaining. After Nordhoff recorded two sacks, linebacker John Hill intercepted a pass at the goal line as time expired.
Titus’ scoring pass capped a 10-play, 50-yard drive that followed Nordhoff’s recovery of an onside kick.
Nordhoff (7-4) closed to within, 27-26, on a 13-yard touchdown run by Joey Briglio with 6:11 left.
Joey Briglio rushed for 114 yards in 22 carries. Titus completed seven of 11 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Drew caught three passes for 65 yards.
