Erupting Into a Lather
It’s a dormant volcano. It’s a soap. It’s a dormant volcano and soap in one.
St. Helens buffer soap bars use pumice spewed out by so-named volcano that exploded in 1980. Softer than most pumice bars, they lather up into a gentle cleansing buffer.
The soap is available at the Space Needle in Seattle and various Northwest stores. But curious Southern Californians must call (206) 322-7777 or visit the Web site at https://www.sainthelens.com. The bars sell in sets of four for $6.
