Woman Finds Body in Vacant Lancaster Lot
LANCASTER — The body of a Lancaster man was found Saturday in a vacant lot on Yucca Avenue, authorities said.
The cause of death for Bennie Hinsley, 34, was not immediately known, said Deputy Bob Killeen, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The body was found about 8:50 a.m. in the 45000 block of Yucca Avenue, near Lancaster Boulevard, authorities said. Investigators found no signs of trauma or an obvious cause of death, Killeen said. The cause of death will be investigated by the coroner.
A woman found the body and alerted authorities, Killeen said.
