No. 5 Fountain Valley (4-0) vs. Trabuco Hills (3-1)
7:30 TONIGHT TRABUCO HILLS HIGH
Fountain Valley is coming off a tough 7-3 victory over Servite, during which its running game was nonexistent (25 carries, six yards). Still, it should test Trabuco Hills’ defense, which has allowed only 12.8 points per game. Fountain Valley’s offensive line must do a better job of protecting Ryan Breska (sacked three times by Servite), and the Barons’ defense must contain Brandon Heaney, who is as much a threat running (332 yards, 8.1 per carry) as he is passing (25 of 43). It did a nice job against Servite, with two interceptions by Aaron Carter, a fumble recovery and three sacks.
