El Dorado (4-3, 1-1) vs. Kennedy (5-2, 1-1)
7:30 TONIGHT WESTERN HIGH
Since giving up 30 points in its opener against Savanna, Kennedy hasn’t given up more than 20 in one game. The Fighting Irish have three shutouts, including last week’s 3-0 victory over Loara, which came by way of Alex Vasquez’s fourth-quarter 42-yard field goal. Kennedy’s problem has been finding consistency on offense--three times the Fighting Irish have scored 27 or more points, but four times they’ve scored 14 or fewer. El Dorado is just as unpredictable. The Golden Hawks are coming off last week’s 18-16 loss to Katella, a team that lost to Brea Olinda, 56-14, four weeks ago.
