YMCA to Introduce Programs at Picnic
Parents and children who like hot dogs and Native American lore can get their fill at the West County Family YMCA recruitment picnic Sept. 20.
Indian Guides, Princesses and Maidens, for parents and children from kindergarten through third grade, will be signed on. Trailblazers, for fathers with sons and daughters from the fourth grade and up, also will be recruited.
Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be available at the fair, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Murdy Park on Goldenwest Street just north of Warner Avenue.
For information, call Gary Henry at (714) 847-9622.
