Fullerton Man Held in Stabbing Outside Bar; Victim Critical
A 38-year-old Fullerton man was arrested Saturday morning in connection with the stabbing of another man in the parking lot behind a downtown Fullerton bar, police said.
The suspect, identified as Marcos Mireles Cardena, was arrested at his home about eight hours after the incident, Lt. Mike Stedman said.
Stedman said the stabbing took place during an argument behind the Tropics Lounge on West Commonwealth Avenue. He said police didn’t know what the argument was about.
The unidentified victim, described as in his early 20s, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was in critical condition suffering from two stab wounds to the torso, Stedman said.
