Big Rig, 6 Vehicles Collide; 4 Injured
A big rig collided with six cars on the eastbound Garden Grove Freeway during morning rush hour Thursday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Four drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Orange by paramedics from the Santa Ana Fire Department. The drivers’ identities were not released.
The wreck caused a one-hour SigAlert, jamming traffic in both directions, officers said. Three of five lanes in the area were blocked.
