Air Bags
I may be only 14 but I seem to have a firmer grip on reality than some people. I was embarrassed to read about how a 7-year-old child had died from an air bag (Sept. 14).
Am I the only person who has read the huge warning label, usually on the visor, of a car with an air bag? It clearly reads that seating children under 12 in a seat with an air bag could be dangerous or even fatal in the event that an accident should occur.
It may seem like I have no feelings, but I do. I just can’t tolerate people who have no common sense. Please remember this in the future: If you have children under 12, either don’t put them in the front seat or buy a car with just a driver’s-side air bag or none at all.
