BREA
The city recently acquired its 117th piece of art through the Art in Public Places program: a bronze sculpture of two dancers, created by Robert Holmes. The 10-foot piece, called “Ascending Dancer,” is at the entrance of the new Vintage Canyon Senior Apartments on Brea Boulevard. A city ordinance requires developers who spend more than $500,000 on a project to pay a fee for public sculptures. Information: (714) 990-7177.
