Police officers will race across the desert this weekend in the 15th annual Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay. The city’s team of 20 runners and five alternates will compete with about 200 city, county and state law enforcement agencies. The annual race is sponsored by the Los Angeles Police Revolver and Athletic Club.
