YORBA LINDA
The City Council this week opted to seek input from the Traffic Commission to determine whether crosswalks are needed across Casa Loma Avenue between Imperial Highway and Yorba Linda Boulevard. The action follows a vote in March in which the council accepted staff’s recommendation not to install crosswalks or convert a pedestrian flasher in the area into a traffic signal. Instead, members voted to improve signage in the area alerting motorists of the nearby school. The council has since decided to revisit the issue. Information: (714) 961-7100.
