Santa Ana College will be the site of the only workshop in the western United States on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s new higher education program, in which $5.65 million will be awarded to Hispanic Serving Institutions nationwide for community-oriented projects.
The workshop will enable HSI members to obtain information and eligibility requirements for grants of up to $400,000; it will be held April 29, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in Phillips Hall at the college, 1530 W. 17th St. Information: (714) 564-6971.
