The City Council last week upheld the Planning Commission’s recommendation to grant approval for the 150-seat Bourbon Street restaurant, off Red Hill Avenue near the Stater Bros. market. The council, however, added the condition that the item be revisited in six months to ensure that Bourbon Street is more of a restaurant than a bar. The new restaurant will have pool tables and video games, in addition to a cocktail/oyster bar.
