The public is encouraged to attend a community workshop on May 4 to discuss plans for open space, parks and recreational programs. Ideas suggested by residents will be incorporated into the Master Plan of Parks, now being reworked. The new plan--designed to guide park development--will eventually be presented to the City Council. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Weimer Room, 300 E.
