Intellicell Seeks Approval to Change Corporate Name

Intellicell Corp., Chatsworth, is asking shareholders to approve changing the corporate name to Focus Affiliates Inc. The company also announced that, effective immediately, it will conduct business as Focus Wireless Communications.

Shareholders will vote on the corporate name change proposal at the company’s annual meeting next month. The company’s stock will continue to be traded on Nasdaq, ticker symbol, “FONE.”

Intellicell recently signed a definitive agreement to merge with Cellular Wholesalers Inc., a privately held wholesale distributor of wireless phone products. The combined companies plan to provide customers with a single source of Internet-based e-commerce solutions in addition to distribution services.

Intellicell distributes handsets, accessories and related products and services for several wireless manufacturers within the United States and Mexico.
