GARDEN GROVE
Work crews will make improvements to portions of Brookhurst and Magnolia streets and Chapman Avenue, under a plan approved recently by the City Council. Construction, which is expected to begin this month, will take place on Chapman Avenue, from Brookhurst to West Street; Brookhurst, from Chapman to Lampson Avenue; and Magnolia, from Garden Grove Boulevard to Lampson. Workers will rebuild pavement, lay asphalt, build bus pads, paint stripes and mark the pavement. Money for the $590,734 project will come from the state.
