HUNTINGTON BEACH
The City Council directed staff to arrange a study session with the Bolsa Chica Wetlands Steering Committee for an update on the wetlands restoration. The committee, comprising eight state and federal agencies, was formed in 1997 to oversee the restoration process after the state acquired the wetlands, according to a report from Mayor Peter Green. Green also was authorized to request the city be added to the committee.
