MISSION VIEJO
Two residents were recognized for their volunteer work by the City Council this week.
Jeanne Millikan and Dora Paley were presented certificates of appreciation by the city for working 1,000 hours each at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.
Paley also was recognized for working an additional 2,000 hours at the Saddleback Valley National Charity League. Both women have volunteered at the Mission Viejo community center since it opened in 1989.
