Focus on Photos a Welcome Change

* Newspapers in general focus on disasters, murders and tragedy in general.

So it was with great delight that I opened up to the Orange County section on Nov. 23 and was greeted with the photography of Al Schaben. And I was doubly delighted with his second picture on page 3 of the moon and the airplane.

Finally, Rick Loomis’ photo layout headlined “Liquid Light” was the icing on the cake. Thanks for having such talent at your newspaper. I was glad I had time to read it.
