Ventura 4, Thousand Oaks 3--Jared Potts scored his second goal of the game with seven minutes left to break a 3-3 tie at Ventura.

Thousand Oaks (1-1-1) trailed, 3-1, in the second half, but tied the score on goals by Abraham Estrada and Danny Ermolovich.

Monroe 3, Canoga Park 2--Oscar Galicia scored in the 70th minute to give the Vikings a nonleague victory at Monroe.

Danny Corrales had two goals for Monroe (2-0).

Valencia 3, Lancaster 2--Wes Ervin scored two goals and the Vikings (2-0-2) won at Valencia.

GIRLS

Chaminade 1, Westlake 1--Katie Thomas recorded eight saves, enabling Chaminade to earn a 1-1 tie at West Hills.

Chaminade (2-1-1) scored in the 13th minute when goalkeeper Katie Peck of Westlake bobbled a high shot, and Tara Donoghue knocked it into the net.

The Warriors (1-0-2) tied the game in the 72nd minute when Jenna Wirtz sent a free kick into the goal box and it was knocked in by a Chaminade defender.

Sara Silver-Hill of Westlake had a chance to win the game in injury time but her shot was saved by Thomas.
