For the first time in local government history, the five-member City Council has endorsed a candidate for the 72nd District Assembly seat--Brea City Councilwoman Lynn Daucher.
The council’s decision to endorse Daucher came after a special meeting held last month during which the City Council got to ask candidates questions on topics ranging from personal life to platform issues, including each candidate’s top five concerns for the community, how much money each has raised for his or her campaign, personal financial input in the race, and how much money has been raised within the district.
Daucher was chosen from among six candidates.
