Police Have Suspect in Woman’s Stabbing
A 42-year-old woman was stabbed several times by a male acquaintance at her home early Saturday, authorities said.
The victim, who was not identified by police, was listed in fair but stable condition Saturday night at Simi Valley Hospital. The wounds were not life-threatening, Simi Valley Police Det. John Parks said.
Police said the incident occurred about 3:40 a.m. inside the woman’s home on Big Springs Avenue in north Simi Valley. Another family member who lives at the home called 911 after the woman was stabbed, Parks said.
Parks refused to disclose details of the stabbing, except to say police have a suspect but had not made an arrest as of Saturday night.
