HOLIDAY CLOSINGS
Today is Presidents Day, created to celebrate the birthdays of Presidents Washington and Lincoln.
CLOSED: All government offices, courts, banks, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries and schools, and many businesses. Metrolink trains will not run. MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules. There will be no mail pickup or delivery. All post offices will be closed, except for the World Way Air-Mail Center, 5800 Century Blvd., Los Angeles. Express and special delivery mail will be delivered.
TRASH: Most trash collection agencies will maintain regular pickup schedules.
