HUNTINGTON BEACH
At least two and possibly four men are still at large after a Huntington Beach home-invasion robbery Feb. 9, police said. The robbers, armed with a gun and a knife, entered a home in the 3300 block of Tempe Drive around 5 a.m. and demanded property, said Police Lt. Luis Ochoa.
“During the incident the male adult physically resisted the suspects and managed to escape by running to an upstairs balcony and fleeing to a neighbor’s, who summoned help,” Ochoa said. Police said no one was hurt. The suspects fled and may have fired a shot while leaving, Ochoa said. A search of the area by officers, a police dog and a helicopter was unsuccessful.
