Rainbow Technologies Inc.: The Irvine maker of computer security products said it lost $2.4 million, or 20 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, which included nonrecurring operating expenses of $5.3 million. For the 1997 fourth quarter, Rainbow recorded net income of $3.3 million, 27 cents a share. Revenue increased 7% to $30.7 million from $28.8 million. Net income for the year fell to $2.5 million, or 21 cents a share, from $11.3 million, or 95 cents a share, for 1997. Sales were up 15% to $109.2 million from $94.7 million.
