Two former lovers meet in hope of rekindling their romance, only to find political, social and age differences stand in their way in “Skylight,” which closes Sunday at South Coast Repertory, 655 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa. “The symbolism in David Hare’s social commentary play is a bit overcooked, and director Martin Benson and one of his leading actors mess up part of the recipe.
