Blaze Causes $100,000 in Damage to Restaurant
A fire that swept through a restaurant Sunday caused $100,000 in damages, but no one was injured, fire officials said Monday.
Firefighters were sent to the Eagle Restaurant and Bar in the 17000 block of Ventura Boulevard at 10:48 p.m., said Jim Wells, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman.
It took 50 firefighters about 20 minutes to extinguish the flames in the two-story building.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
