A young man walked into a Pizza Hut in broad daylight Monday where an employee was working alone and robbed the store at gunpoint, authorities said.

The suspect, believed to be between the ages of 18 and 20, entered the Pizza Hut at 2410 Saviers Road at 1:10 p.m., according to the Police Department.

He punched the employee several times before pointing a gun at him. He then ordered the worker to hand over the money in the cash register and the safe.
