SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
The Capistrano Unified School District Board of Trustees voted 6 to 0 Monday to approve the bid by Weeger Bros. Inc. of Huntington Beach to build a new K-5 elementary school. It will cost nearly $6.2 million to build the yet-to-be-named school, scheduled to open in the fall. Board President Marlene Draper abstained from the vote because her husband works in the construction industry.
