No. 4 Troy 88, Sunny Hills 25--Veronica Johns-Richardson had 24 points, nine rebounds and seven steals for Troy (19-0, 3-0).

In the Garden Grove League:

Pacifica 70, Rancho Alamitos 32--Diane Barreras had 21 points, nine assists and six steals for visiting Pacifica (9-10, 3-1).

In Garden Grove League girls’ soccer:

Pacifica 7, Rancho Alamitos 0--Michelle Burcham had two goals and Kim Wahlstrom and Julie Guenther each had a goal and an assist for host Pacifica (14-1-4, 4-0).

In nonleague girls’ water polo:

No. 2 Villa Park 11, No. 9 El Toro 4--Kristyn Pulver scored six goals and Shannon Buckner had two for Villa Park (17-1).

No. 8 University 7, Edison 4--Hayley Sudeith and Marion Gee each had two goals and goalie Amy Hilts made 18 saves for University (10-6).
